A boutique hotel set in the stunning landscape of Pitlochry in Perthshire, Scotland, with fine dining, luscious cocktails and sumptuous beds, and it's vegan? A revelation!
Visual identity / Design
Abstinence? There's no such thing.
Saorsa 1875 want to dispel the myths that plant-based living means doing without. Pioneering hospitality for the future, the business is fundamentally built on social responsibility.
Based on the Scottish term' Coorie', we created a visual identity that represented the modern, homely interiors and the wondrous surroundings of the hotel. Similar to the Danish term Hygge – Coorie is literally a 'hug of a word'.
Visually we needed to respect the hotel’s history, it's environment and also bring in some of our lovely, modern interior. We did this by careful choice of typefaces that hint at Victorian roots but are complemented by up to date options. Muted colours with jeweled tones aligned with the interior and sat next to beautiful photography of still life and nature.
We the curious.
We’ve been working with Saorsa to really hone their brand communications. From business cards, cocktail menus to press ads and social posts, we're eager to open up new audiences and expand the hotel's offering into further markets.
Proud to be different.
